Mom on the Clock #000

Hey there!

Welcome to Mom on the Clock!

Here's what we have for you today:

  • Who I Am: Meet your new parenting cheerleader—part OT, part mom, all in your corner.

  • What Mom on the Clock Is: Your weekly guide to taming chaos with sensory smarts.

  • Why It Matters: How small moments can transform your parenting game.

Who Am I?

I’m a mom to a spirited toddler and an OT who’s spent years helping kids, adults and families navigate sensory challenges. My days are a whirlwind of sippy cups, sensory play, and dealing with work drama, just like yours. But my real passion? Helping new moms know that even though they only have 45 minutes a day with their kid, it’s enough to ensure they are growing and developing correctly.

I’ve been in the trenches of parenting guilt and late-night Google spirals,

  • “why aren’t they rolling yet”

  • “Is it normal that he sticks everything in his mouth”

  • “He fell and now his toe looks discolored, how bad is it?”

Trust me: you don’t need to be home all day to be an incredible parent. You just need a few tricks up your sleeve, and I’ve got plenty to share.

What Mom on the Clock Is All About

Mom on the Clock is your weekly dose of encouragement, designed for parents who feel like they’re always racing against time. Think of it as your go-to resource for turning chaotic moments—like bedtime battles or sensory overload—into opportunities for connection and calm. Every newsletter brings you:

  • Quick sensory tricks: Think two-minute bedtime routines or a yoga ball hack to tame wiggles.

  • Practical tools: From kid-friendly products to free resources like sensory-smart stories.

  • Real talk: Stories from my life as a mom and OT, because we’re in this together.

Whether your kid is bouncing off the walls, struggling to settle down, or just needs a little extra calm, I’m here to help you make every moment count. This isn’t about adding to your to-do list—it’s about giving you simple, science-backed ways to help your child feel safe and capable, all while easing your stress.

Why I’m Here for You

Parenting is like keeping a clock ticking: every second matters, but it can feel overwhelming to keep it all in sync. As an OT, I know that small, intentional moments—like a hug, a story, or a gentle sensory exercise—can rewire a child’s brain for calm and confidence. As a mom, I know how hard it is to find time for those moments when you’re juggling work, laundry, and life. Mom on the Clock is my way of standing with you, offering tools to make parenting feel less like a sprint and more like a dance. My mission? To empower you to feel like the rockstar parent you already are, with tips that work whether your kid is 2 or 8, neurotypical or navigating sensory needs.

What to Expect

Each week, you’ll get a newsletter packed with one doable idea to bring calm to your home. Expect stories from my messy, beautiful life as a mom, OT insights that make sensory science feel like magic, and product picks that actually earn their keep (like a certain kid-sized yoga ball I can’t stop raving about). I’ll share freebies, like sensory-smart stories, and quick routines that fit into your busiest days. Most importantly, I’ll remind you that you’re doing an incredible job, even when the clock feels like it’s ticking too fast.

Let’s Start This Journey Together

You’re already showing up for your kids in a million ways, and I’m here to make that feel a little easier. To kick things off, reply with your child’s age and one thing they love (dinosaurs? dancing?). I’ll tailor future tips just for you.
